Acceptable Use

Wablar runs on top of WhatsApp Business Platform. This means that use of the service must comply, in addition to our Terms of Service, with the official policies of WhatsApp and Meta. This page summarizes the most important rules.
1. Explicit consent
You may only initiate a WhatsApp conversation with people who:
- Gave you their phone number directly.
- Gave explicit consent to receive messages from your company.
Consent must be obtained per category (support, marketing, notifications) and be revocable at any time.
2. Clear opt-out
Every customer must offer a simple mechanism for users to stop receiving messages (for example, reply “STOP”) and process the requests promptly.
3. Escalation to human
Automated flows and AI-generated replies must allow the end user to reach a human agent upon request.
4. Prohibitions
You may not use Wablar to:
- Send spam or unsolicited bulk messages (blasting).
- Scrape numbers or purchase contact databases without consent.
- Impersonate identities, mislead, or defraud.
- Serve industries or content prohibited by WhatsApp, including: recreational or prescription drugs, weapons, body parts, tobacco, adult content, dating services, multi-level marketing, among others.
- Serve restricted industries (alcohol, gambling, medications) without prior authorization and proper licenses.
- Attempt to compromise the security, availability, or integrity of the service.
5. 24-hour window
Outside the 24-hour window from the user’s last message, only Meta-approved templates may be sent.

7. Reports and breaches
If you detect misuse of Wablar or receive messages you consider spam, write to us at info@wablar.com. We review every report and may suspend accounts that breach these rules.
