Data Deletion

This page describes how to request the deletion of personal data associated with Wablar, whether you are a business using the platform or a person who chatted with a business through WhatsApp and Wablar.
1. If you are a Wablar business customer
You can request the deletion of all your account information and conversation history through any of these options:
- From the platform: sign in to your account, go to “Settings → Account” and use the “Delete account” option. Confirm the action.
- By email: write to info@wablar.com from the address associated with your account, using “Data deletion request” as the subject.
We process the request within 30 days. Subject to legal, contractual, and technical limitations, we will remove or anonymize::
- Business account data and its users.
- Conversation history and messages.
- Stored attachments.
- Integration settings.
We may retain anonymized data for statistical purposes and data required by legal obligations (billing, auditing) for the applicable legal period.
2. If you are a person who wrote to a business
Wablar processes your messages only on behalf of the business you conversed with. To request the deletion of your conversation you have two options:
- Contact the business directly. The business is the primary controller of your data.
- Contact Wablar at info@wablar.com
including:
- Your WhatsApp number.
- The name of the business (if known).
- The approximate date of the conversation.
Upon receiving a request, we will review it and coordinate with the corresponding business when necessary to process the request in accordance with applicable law.
3. What we CANNOT delete
- Messages stored by WhatsApp or Meta in their own systems (for that, contact WhatsApp directly).
- Backups outside the legal retention period.
- Records required by law for tax or audit purposes.
